HIGEN MOTOR, the forerunner of Korean motion control industry is the only motor manufacturer in Korea that produces both servo drives and induction motors such as low voltage motors, high voltage motors, electric vehicle motors, inverter motors, inverter built-in motors, spindle motors of industrial grade with power rating of 0.4 kW to 2,000kW. The legacy of HIGEN MOTOR dates back to 1963 when Goldstar, the pioneer of Korean electronic industry, now renamed as LG, started motor production for import substitution.
